Rare BOSE portable CD player with MP3 playback capability and programmable features.
Body only.
Operational status: Tested and working with dry cell batteries.
Played one album without issue, but detailed settings were not confirmed.
Plays when the ESP button is disengaged (it's unclear if this is the intended function, as there is no manual).
Volume cannot be adjusted via the LINE OUT using the player's volume control, which seems to be the design.
Volume can be adjusted via the headphone output.
(There is some crackling when turning the volume knob.)
Currently, reading and playback are working well, but as this is an older item, no operational guarantee can be provided.
